Softball Drops Two to SUNY-Canton

Butler, Pa- In their second straight day of playing in the frozen tundra, the Greater Allegheny (0-3) softball  team suffered a double-header sweep at the hands of visiting SUNY-Canton.  The opposition took game one 13-0 (5 innings), and then game two 23-1 (5 innings).

  Sophomore Jordyn Hosling (McKeesport, PA/Elizabeth Forward) collected two hits and scored the lone GA run on the day, while freshmen Shelby Bendick (White Oak, PA/McKeesport) and Ashley Lowenstein (San Jose, CA/Presentation) each drilled two hits in game two.

Greater Allegheny will take ten days off before returning to action Wednesday, March 27 for a double-header against Westmoreland CC.  First pitch of game one is scheduled for 3 PM.
