Women's Basketball Stumbles to 1-6

McKeesport, Pa- In a closely fought, turnover filled affair, the Penn State Greater Allegheny Lady Lions fell to 1-6 on the season, losing to visiting Penn State Brandywine, 67-45. The team was without Senior Forward Rachel Halaszynski (Elizabeth, PA).

The team as a whole was able to force 23 Brandywine turnovers. Unfortunately, they committed 22 themselves. Freshmen Forward Christina Floyd of Philadelphia, PA led the offensive effort for PSUGA with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The effort defensively was tough and consistent despite being outrebounded by 9. Coach Lou Zadecky will look to get the team refocused and back on track tomorrow, December 3rd at 1pm in the Wunderly Gymnasium vs Penn State Schuylkill.
