Balanced Offense Propels Women's Basketball to 73-59 Victory

McKeesport, Pa- Six Greater Allegheny women- including all five starters- scored in double-figures, as the home team cruised to a 73-59 PSUAC win over Penn State Worthington Scranton.

  Sophomore forward Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, PA) notched her fourth double-double of the season, leading GA with 18 points to go along with 14 rebounds.  Sophomore guard Taylor Fulton (West Mifflin, PA) continued to produce on offense, scoring 12 points and dishing out seven assists.  Junior guard Andrea Brown (Coraopolis, PA), and sophomore guards Nakayla Layne (Pittsburgh, PA) and Taylor McCallister (North Huntingdon, PA) all scored 11 points.  Layne also earned a double-double, as she collected a team-high 15 rebounds.  

  The PSUAC win improves the Greater Allegheny record to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.  The women return to action December 11 for a 6 PM game at Penn State Beaver.
