Teona Cash Named USCAA Women's Division II Basketball Player of the Week

Newport News, Va. - Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball stand-out guard Teona Cash (McKeesport, Pa./Woodland Hills) earned herself the USCAA Women's Divison II Basketball Player of the Week accolade from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for her contributions through the week of February 17th, 2015.

Through the 83-48 sweep of Pitt-Titusville, Cash checked in for 77.7% (7-of-9) from the floor and 80% (4-of-5) from the foul line. The guard dropped a double-double with 18 points, eleven rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks.

In the 77-73 Penn State University Athletic Conference slant over Penn State Beaver, Teona posted 13 points and nine rebound along with six assists and three steals.

Through the two contests, Teona led her team by averaging a double-double with 15.5 points per game on 57% shooting from the floor with ten rebounds.  The freshman guard also added six assists, three steals and one block per game.
