Women's Volleyball Overpowered at Fayette

Uniontown, Pa- The Penn State Greater Allegheny Women's Volleyball team fell at the hands of a strong Penn State Fayette team, 3-0 (8-25, 6-25, 14-25), in today's PSUAC match.

The women from Penn State Fayette were strong and consistent throughout, preventing Greater Allegheny from mustering any kind of sustained attack.  When GA would gain a few points, Fayette would counter with multiple strings of points.  They would cruise to a 3-0 match victory, looking the part of a first-place team.

Still, the Greater Allegheny woman would turn in a strong performance. Leading GA was Freshman, PSUAC Player of the Week, Alyssa Finocchi (Baldwin) with 4 Kills and 5 Digs, with fellow Freshman Samantha Clark (Steel Valley) contributing with 9 Digs.

Prenn State Greater Allegheny Women's volleyball now owns a 3-12 overall record, with a 2-6 record in the PSUAC.  Greater Allegheny must bounce back quickly, as they return home tomorrow for a 12:00 PM PSUAC match against Penn State DuBois.
