Media, Pa. - Through three sets of play, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team fell to conference match-up, Penn State Brandywine, in the first round of the PSUAC Elite 8 playoffs, 3-0.

The first set opened to Brandywine's favor, as they quickly swelled to 10-2. Hard hit's completed by junior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) added tallies for GA. Finocchi killed three of the first four points for GA, keeping an even mark with Brandywine to open the second set. Freshman libero Brianna Audette (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) and sophomore right side hitter Kenya West (Penn Hills, Pa.) supplied GA with kills of their own, helping their team with some offensive drive.
