McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball senior middle hitter stand-out Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) earned not only the PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week award but also the USCAA Player of the Week after her efforts throughout the week of September 30, 2014.

The forceful middle hitter led her team to a 4-1 record on the week, which included four conference triumphs. On the week, Finocchi recorded 45 kills, six service aces, 23 digs and 14 total blocks - seven solo and seven assisted -  to pave the way for Greater Allegheny.
