Greater Allegheny Volleyball Rolls to a 3-0 Triumph over DuBois

DuBois, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team took three sets by scores of 25-3, 25-5 and 25-9 over Penn State University Athletic Conference foe Penn State DuBois, Saturday afternoon.

Senior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) recorded sixteen service aces along with six kills through the three sets of action. Sophomore setter Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) assisted fifteen kills as she placed three service aces to boost the efforts of the Greater Allegheny offense. 

Freshman right side Laura Vazquez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cupey Maria Montessori) and freshman middle hitter landed five kills apiece to assist in the DuBois overtake. Vazquez earned eight services aces to lift GA to their 3-0 decision.

Greater Allegheny (17-8, 10-5 PSUAC) is set to host their last home match of the season, as Penn State Beaver comes to Wunderley Gymnasium, Wednesday evening. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
