Greater Allegheny Volleyball Finishes 2014 Season in the PSUAC Final Four

Lemont Furnace, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team finished their 2014-15 season, Friday night, as the women traveled to Penn State Fayette for the Final Four match of the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championships, where GA dropped 3-0.

Through three sets of action, senior middle hitter Alyssa Finocchi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) completed five kills with eleven digs and three block totals. Sophomore setter Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md./Friendly) assisted 12 kills, six digs and two service aces.

Freshman right side Laura Vazquez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cupey Maria Montessori) added four kills alongside 17 digs and one service ace. Freshman right side Emily Taylor (Aliquippa, Pa./Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter) got in the mix with three kills and five digs as freshman defensive specialist Tori Johnston (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) added nine digs and a kill. Senior middle hitter Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./Sts. Neumann-Goretti) put up five digs and three total blocks as sophomore defensive specialist Brianna Audette (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) got down for six digs.

Penn State Greater Allegheny wraps up their 2014-15 season with an overall record of 21-10, 11-7 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
