GA Volleyball Falls to Mont Alto, 3-0

Mont Alto, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team fell to Penn State University Athletic Conference rival, Penn State Mont Alto, Sunday afternoon, by a margin of 3-0.

Sophomore setter Courtney Odell Shadd (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett) placed 13 assists with three digs, two service aces and two blocks. Junior outside hitter Tori Johnston (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) got down for 13 digs while placing three kills and one block.

Freshman middle hitter Dorina Adou (Kyoto, Japan/Obama Academy) got up for a total of six blocks with six kills, seven digs and two service aces. With four blocks, three digs and two kills, junior defensive specialist Emily Taylor (Aliquippa, Pa./Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter) assisted her team through the trio of sets.

GA was set to play Penn State York next, but the game was canceled.

Penn State Greater Allegheny (4-7, 3-5 PSUAC) hosts Penn State DuBois, Tuesday night, for another Penn State University Athletic Conference contest. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
