New Kensington, Pa. - In an overall team effort, the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's volleyball team finished their regular season in a Penn State University Athletic Conference battle against Penn State New Kensington, Wednesday night.

Sophomore setter Courtney Odell Shadd (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett) placed 30 assists with three service aces, six digs and two block solos. Junior outisde hitter Laura Vazquez-Diaz (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Cupey Maria Montessori) hammered 14 kills with 19 digs, one assist and one service ace.

Freshman middle hitter Dorina Adou (Kyoto, Japan/Obama Academy) added seven kills, eleven digs and four service aces while junior right side Emily Taylor (Aliquippa, Pa./Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter) surged with six kills, five digs and two service aces. Freshman libero Hayley Maksin (Port Vue, Pa./South Allegheny) got down for ten digs.

The three sets ended in Greater Allegheny's favor, 25-11, 25-9 and 25-15.
