Cross Country Kicks Off Their Season With Solid Effort

Greensburg, Pa- The Penn State Greater Allegheny cross country team kicked off their 2012 season by running in the Seton Hill Invitational, which consisted of nearly all NCAA Division-II universities.

  Three GA men would place in their 8k race, with Rob Meier pacing group, at 34th.  Sophomore Maria Marroquin placed 78th in the women's 5k race.

  The Greater Allegheny runners will next participate in the Penn State Scranton Invitational, which takes place next Saturday, September 8.  The race will get underway at 1:00 PM.
