Three Greater Allegheny Basketball Stand-Out's Earn PSUAC All-Conference Accolades

University Park, Pa. - Three Penn State Greater Allegheny basketball student-athletes gain PSUAC First-Team All-Conference awards after the completion of the 2013-14 season.

After a strong campaign, senior point guard Taylor Fulton (Duquesne, Pa./West Mifflin) finished the season notching 480 points, 261 assists, 135 steals and 134 boards. The big-timer earned herself the First-Team All-Conference accomplishment after a record-setting year, including the honor of receiving her 1,000th career point in a Penn State jersey. The play-maker Fulton was able to grab the PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week award three different times throughout her remarkable season. Fulton is currently sitting in 4th place in the conference with average points per game with 19.2. She also lead the conference with steals and assists, as she took 135 steals, averaging 5.4 a game, alongside dishing out 261 assists.

The other sharp-shooter for the Greater Allegheny Lions through the 2013-14 season was junior power forward Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, Pa./Saints Neumann-Goretti). The 5-11 force finished her year by recording 412 points, 330 rebounds, 35 steals and 20 assists, boosting her recognition through the Penn State University Athletic Conference. These numbers lifted Floyd to a First-Team All-Conference nomination. Floyd was recognized by the PSUAC for her efforts through the last week of regular season action, as she earned the Student-Athlete of the Week honor. Floyd is currently sitting in 1st place in the conference for rebounds per game (13.2) and 4th in field goal percentage (52.7).

Paving the way to a 15-10, 12-4 season was head coach Lou Zadecky, who was honored with the 2013-14 Women's Basketball Co-Coach of the Year award.

Junior guard Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian) flexed over the PSUAC through the 2013-14 season, as the 6-6 guard achieved the First-Team All-Conference distinction after an impressive season. The powerhouse dumped 637 points, 318 rebounds, 91 assists and 46 steals through 26 contests. Petrie found himself taking six PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week accolades through his athletic season, more than any other athlete from any school in the conference. He currently sits in first place through the PSUAC with points per game (24.5) and rebounds per game (12.2).
