McKeesport, Pa- The Greater Allegheny men's basektball team could not overcome another poor shooting night, as they were beaten by Penn State New Kensington 81-59. GA shot just 29% from the field, and a dismal 17% from 3-point range.
Freshman Guard Eric Butler (Communication Tech) turned in one of his season's best nights, scoring 12 points on 4-7 shooting. Sophomore Nick Dizon (Woodland Hills) and Junior Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) also scored in double-figures, with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The PSUAC loss drops GA's overall record to 5-15, with their conference mark falling to 3-11. The men return to action Saturday Febuary 4th, for a 3 PM tip at Penn State Mont Alto.
