GA Men's Basketball Follows Addison's 38 Points to Second Consecutive PSUAC Win

New Kensington, Pa. - Behind junior guard Petrie Addison's (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian) 38 points and 13 rebounds, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball squad rolls over Penn State New Kensington for the teams second consecutive Penn State University Athletic Conference victory, 85-74.

Leading the way to the GA Nittany Lion victory was Addison, as the 6-6 guard dropped 34.5% (10-of-29) from the floor alongside bucketing 66.6% (12-of-18) from the free-throw line. Addison assisted his team by not only adding 38 points and pulling down 13 boards, but also dished out four steals and four assists.

Senior Nick Dizon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) boosted his teams efforts, as the 6-5 forward completed 50% (7-of-14) from the floor and painted 50% (2-of-4) from the charity stripe. Dizon added 16 points to the tally and boarded 12 rebounds.

Freshman guard Denzel London (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) put up eleven points and five rebounds alongside giving out five assists. The guard went 44.4% (4-for-9) from the floor as well as 60% (3-of-5) from the free-throw line.

Senior forward Aaron Byrd (Upper Marlboro, Md./Dr. Henry A. Wise) added seven points along side his ten rebounds. Freshman guard Eric Moody (Philadelphia, Pa./New Media Technology Charter) boosted his teams efforts, as he increased GA's mark seven points, pulled down seven boards and gave out six assists.

As a team, Greater Allegheny achieved 63.6% (21-of-33) from the free-throw line. The team drew 34.1% (28-of-82) of shots attempted from the floor. PSUGA lifted their efforts as the squad out-rebounded New Kensington 54-40.

The team looks to continue their win streak as Penn State Greater Allegheny welcomes Penn State Lehigh Valley to Wunderley Gymnasium, Friday night. A double-header with the women's team, the men look to tip-off at 8 p.m.
