McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team hosted Penn State DuBois in Wunderley Gymnasium, Saturday afternoon, as GA earned their first Penn State University Athletic Conference victory of the 2014-15 season by a score of 72-64.

Junior guard Chris Dixon (Homestead, Pa./Steel Valley) posted the first points for Greater Allegheny, as he hammered a three-pointer. Senior forward Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, Fla./Florida Christian) added four points as DuBois continued to finish, DuBois up five minutes into the game 12-7. Freshman guard Antonio Lucic-Jozak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) along side Addison finished layups before freshman guard Tony Patterson-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Roxborough) regained the lead with eleven to play before halftime.

Addison completed free-throw before sophomore guard Denzel Boyer-London (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) put up eight himself to tie the game back up at 22 with six to go. Greater Allegheny held DuBois to just 28 points while Addison and Boyer-London swelled the score to 33 to head into the locker rooms.

Freshman guard Khari Hicks (Pittsburgh, Pa./Imani Christian) was the first to put up points for GA in the second half. Addison put up four before Hicks added another layup, bringing the game to a 39-28 GA lead. Sophomore forward Carl London (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) banked back-to-back three-pointers to boost Greater Allegheny 47-32. 

Hicks and Patterson-Brown completed jumpers before Addison put down four points, two of them being from the foul line. Patterson-Brown drained a trey put move the score to 58-42 with ten minutes left to play in regulation. Patterson-Brown, Lucic-Jozak and Hicks completed buckets for Greater Allegheny as DuBois began their charge back toward the lead. 

The GA Lions found themselves ahead by just six with four minutes left to play. Patterson-Brown slashed a three-pointer before London and Boyer-London marked the final points for GA with free-throws, Greater Allegheny advancing their first PSUAC game, 72-64.

As a team, GA completed 52.9% (9-of-17) from the free-throw line alongside going bucketing 42 points in the paint and 22 points off turnovers. 

Addison finished the game with a double-double, as the senior posted 24 points and 17 boards. He finished 50% (10-of-20) from the floor along with completing 66.7% (4-of-6) from the foul line with three steals and two blocks.

Patterson-Brown deposited 14 points off the bench with four rebounds. Boyer-London added eleven points with five rebounds, six assists and three steals. Hicks and London matched one another with eight points apiece on the scoreboard, 

Greater Allegheny (4-4, 1-0 PSUAC) will go on the road, Monday night, as they travel to California University of Pennsylvania for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
