GA Men's Basketball Tabbed 11th in USCAA Division II Coaches Polls

Newport News, Va. - Before last night's 74-66 victory over the three-time Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) defending champion, Penn State York, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team found themselves ranked 11th in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Basketball Division II Coaches Polls.

Greater Allegheny is up from their previous position, 20th in week three. They now hold the second PSUAC seed, just after Penn State Mont Alto, who is ranked third for the second-straight week.

Through week five, GA found themselves at an even 6-6 and a perfect 4-0 in the PSUAC. With the huge York setback last night, Greater Allegheny is now sitting at a blazing 5-0 showout in the PSUAC, the first time in Greater Allegheny program history.

This is a nice path to lead, as the men travel to NCAA Division II California University of Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon. Cal U is currently sitting on a overall record of 6-10, as they are set to travel to fellow PSAC member, Slippery Rock, on Saturday evening. The Sunday GA-Cal U game is set to tip-off at 3 p.m.
