GA Hosts Penn State Shenango in Round 1

PSUGA MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM MAKE THE PLAYOFFS

Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team are going to the playoffs! The men have had a dynamite season this year. They ended their regular season with a record of 17-8. Currently, the team is ranked second in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference and 11th in the USCAA rankings.

This is the 5th straight season that the PSUGA men's team have made the playoffs. In 2017, they won the PSUAC conference. All the players and coaches are very excited for this playoff season!

Head coach Tyler Care, who has been with PSUGA men's basketball team for the last 6 years, gives testimony to the team's success. "Us being able to make the playoffs so consistently is first a testament to all of the great players we have had come through this program in the past 6 years as well as great support from administration. We could not have sustained this kind of success without the full support of Dr. Edmondson and the rest of the administration. I am really looking forward to making a run at another championship this season."

 The men's first playoff game is Tuesday, Feb. 25th at 7:00PM in the Wunderley Gym. They will being playing Penn State Shenango in the first round. Go PSUGA!
