A Maura Ryan homerun was the difference in game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against Penn State Fayette to give Greater Allegheny Softball their first conference win of the season. Ryan homered in the bottom of the first inning to give GA a 2-1 lead. They never looked back.

Theresa Lanciano went the distance for a complete game, 2 strikeout performance. Natalie Heltebran added 3 RBI's in the win.

Game 2 saw GA fall to Fayette 10-3.

Sydney Creary went yard in the bottom of the 6th to cap a 2 RBI performance. 

GA plays this weekend against Hazelton on Saturday and Scranton on Sunday.
